Dale Sanders |
|
Dale Sanders is a veteran of the stage even at his age of a quarter century. He has a degree in music business from Middle Tennessee State University and currently is director of the musical theatre and voice program at NCKT & NCAC. Dale is also the private voice teacher and vocal performance coach at the NCAC. A singer and actor some of his credits include The King and I with Lou Diamond Phillips, Mame with Loretta Switt, Ragtime with Norm Lewis, Julia Murney, and Tony award winner Michael Ruppert. In 2005 Dale appeared in multiple episodes of Fox's American Idol. He was featured in several "hollywood" episodes, in the first issue of American Idol magazine, and on several commercials for the show. Dale is an accomplished songwriter. In 2006, he wrote and recorded with student's from the NCKT; the song You Are Loved which was written in memory of one of the schools students who passed away. In 2007 Dale starred in Ain’t Misbehavin’ as Ken Page. The show received amazing revue’s, and was listed as one of the top ten shows of the year by the Raleigh News and Observer. He loves working with students who love this business as much as he does. And most currently Dale has a new focus in television, Development. He's currently working on two shows being pitched to the networks! Away from all of this, Dale enjoys taming neighborhood squirels and collecting antique carubreators...okay, not really |
